Abstract :This study assesses the impact of self- reliance, family planning decisions and media exposure on the empowerment of women entrepreneurs, based on a study using 130 respondents from 4 States in South India. Self-reliance empowerment index, Family planning empowerment index, Media exposure index were calculated to find their impact on empowerment. The significant difference among the four groups of respondents regarding their empowerment indices were analyzed with the help of ANOVA. Regression analysis was used to analyze the extent of influence empowerment indices had on the overall empowerment of respondents. The analysis shows that self reliance empowerment index was moderate, the family planning empowerment index was low and the media exposure empowerment index was moderate. It was also apparent that the empowerment indices had an impact on the overall empowerment of respondents. The research provides insights on how to improve the empowerment of women entrepreneurs |

Abstract :Banking and Finance are important pillars of any economy. Cashless economy may affect it positively as it will increase financial inclusion of the population which itself helps in reducing poverty. Cashless economy reduces the burden as well as cost of handling cash. Tracing of criminal activities like robberies, money laundering etc become easier and many other benefits. At the same time it affects banking and finance adversely as well. With the rising cybercrimes, cashless economy causes risk of identity theft, rising consumer debt etc. This paper is to explain the impacts of cashless economy on banking and finance. To understand this, Banking and Financial conditions of the most cashless economy i.e., Sweden is taken into consideration. But every country is different and its issues are country specific. Therefore, the final impact of cashless economy on banking and finance may differ with different countries. |

Abstract :The Governance System is usually supports in developing quality and stability towards the cooperative banks. Governance is an instrument for strengthening the overall effectiveness. Governance system plays a very prominent role in each sector. The ultimate goal of the governance system in application in the banking sector to protect the rights of shareholders, creating confidence among stakeholders, strengthening the BODs, providing the autonomy and responsibility in the BODs. To keep the long term sustainability cooperatives has to adopt directives of RBI towards governance practices. Governance system is all over the world not successfully performing due to the inefficient management, defective governance, manipulations, inadequate disclosure and non transparency. This study has focused on both primary and as well as secondary data. The sample includes the size of 60 respondents (members) from SSK cooperative society. Out of 60 respondents 40 respondents responded for complete questionnaire used likert scale 5 Point to measure the response. The simple statistical measurement Mean, Standard Deviation and Anova has used to analyse the data. In the present study an attempt helps to learn the importance and prospectus of governance practices. The paper reveals that there is greater demand by its members to practice the governance system and the governance practices adopted by SSK Cooperative society has satisfied its members, also some suggested some measures to overcome from possible ways to solve governance problems. |

THE IMPACTS OF FIRM SIZE AND THE RATIO OF BOOK VALUE TO MARKET VALUE ON LIFE DURATION OF FIRMS |

Abstract :As the entry to the competition is important for a firm, the life duration to achieve their goals on economic development is equally important. So the purpose of the present study is to investigate the influence of two factors of firm size and the ratio of book value to market value (BV/MV) on life duration of a firm. In this research, financial data and statements of the companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange bankrupted during a 10-year period (2006-2016) were used. The firms were divided into two groups of large and small ones in order to use survival function by Kaplan-Meier method and finally, data obtained was analyzed using a semi-parametric test of Cox regression and Breslow test. The results show that survival function in Kaplan-Meier method supports the survival of larger companies with life duration of more than 20 years than small firms. There is also a significant relationship between firm size and BV/MV with life duration of a firm at 95% confidence. |

So, marketer need to identify these changing needs and it should be taken as an opportunity. The present research paper is divided in three major parts. In first part of the report, attempts have been made to understand the concept of digital marketing in terms of its meaning, its components-digital devices and digital channels and benefits of digital marketing. In second part of the report, efforts have been made to know the effectiveness of digital marketing in entire world. It shows the spread of digital marketing channels worldwide. It is proved that entire world is a growing potential market which needs to be captured with the help of digital marketing strategies. Third part of this report describes the efforts of banks in digital marketing areas. In digital marketing, banks are taking cautious steps to move forward. While working within the framework of regulations and laws and handling all safety and secrecy related issues with risk factors, banks are entering in digital marketing very slowly and carefully. Marketing is a comprehensive term covering business activities involved at various stages in the flow of transferring products from the primary producer to the ultimate consumer. Agriculture marketing is a vital sub-sector of agriculture, which deserves as much attention as agriculture. The fruits and vegetables marketing in particular is characterized by high perish ability, seasonality and bulkiness of the produces, which make them distinctive from other agricultural products like cereals and nuts. Abstract :Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the biggest employer after the agricultural sector in India, despite of the fact that MSME contributes 45% to industrial sector, there are about 1.3 million SME’s which accounts for 40% of exports, create good number of employment (approximately one million jobs every year) and has employed more than 50 million people producing more than 8000 items catering to both Indian and international markets. As a result, MSMEs are today exposed to greater opportunities for expansion and diversification across . Today we can observe a tremendous growth in Indian market, and is making remarkable progress in various Industries like Service , Engineering, Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Textile industries, furniture and others. It was few years before when SME was suffering due to technology, expertise strategic orientation, marketing issues, not professionally utilizing the resources etc., Now with the government initiative in the development of the sector they are able to get proper guidance and insights which are facilitating the growth of the sector. The study is conducted to bring out the growth and performance of SME’s, to identify the drivers of growth and reasons for hindering the performance and growth. With this we can accept that the development of SME’s will be a contributing factor for the rural development. It will also contribute for the balanced regional development because of its requirements of minimum investment.A data for 5 years has been used i.e. from the year 2011 to 2014-15(dec) keeping in view the Government of Karnataka industrial policy . The paper discusses various benefits and challenges of the MSME which is contributing to the regional development in Karnataka. Yet again it is also suffering from various challenges which have to be addressed by the government for its strong sustainability and further development. The study concludes that MSMEs are the strong tools for the regional development provided they are supported for initial sustainability.
